A little bit about me...
As you probably already know, I am a senior majoring in public relations at Auburn University in beautiful Auburn, Alabama. Before moving to Auburn, I was born and raised in Duluth, Georgia just northeast of Atlanta. I come from a close knit family where I am the youngest child of six. My parents are both from Puerto Rico, so I grew up in a dynamic bilingual family.
Being the youngest of six, I was always an active child trying to keep up with my older siblings. I was involved in everything from ballet to soccer to choir. Being involved in so much, and being surrounded by such a big family, it's no wonder I turned out to be such an outgoing, "people person." I knew that whatever I chose to study in college should center on that strong point. Public Relations was a perfect fit.
I've always had an interest in event planning because it allows me to use me creativity in conjunction with my organizational skills. However, I'm open to all areas of PR and writing has always been a strong point of mine so I enjoy being able to do the "writing side" of PR as well. Being so invloved as a child also allowed me to develope a love for sports and the outdoors. With such I diverse range of interests and skills, I know I'll always be happy where ever my career in public relations takes me.
